Samsung users around the world can now access premium football content 24/7 thanks to the FIFA+ channel on Samsung TV Plus

The tech giant has expanded its sports offering with more content during the biggest women’s soccer tournament

Samsung has announced the addition of FIFA+ to the channel line-up on Samsung TV Plus[1], the company’s free, ad-supported TV streaming service. The new addition is now part of Samsung’s expanding sports offerings available to users.

On the free FIFA+ channel on Samsung TV Plus[2] You’ll find FIFA+’s rich collection of originals, archives, and highlights from both men’s and women’s matches. TC builds on sports content already available on Samsung TVs.

Samsung TV Plus is Samsung’s free source of sports and entertainment, bringing thousands of TV shows, movies and sporting events to millions of Samsung Smart TVs, select Galaxy devices, Family Hub refrigerators and the Internet in many markets.

The announcement was made during the highly anticipated Women’s World Cup 2023™ tournament in Australia and New Zealand.

FIFA+ gives customers access to thousands of hours of the best football stories. The channel’s origins are feature-length documentaries and short films that tell world-class stories about men’s and women’s football. Take, for example, “The Happiest Man in the World” (about a genius, defector, mentor and rebel like Ronaldinho), “Croatia: Defining a Nation” (about how a group of soccer players define a new nation through soccer) or “Bravas de Juárez (The inspiring sacrifices behind the dream of a Latin American women’s soccer team), among countless other long and short stories.

The archive will be home to every FIFA World Cup™– en FIFA Women’s World Cup™Ever match caught on camera. In addition to full match replays, editorial programming is also available, such as tournament match highlights, goal packs, team-related programs and special player profiles.
