Two days of music with Vijverpop

During the weekend of September 2 and 3, Zoetermeer will have a unique party: Vijverpop 079. The annual music event is free and contains a healthy dose of entertainment. This year there is once again a line-up of artists providing a fantastic spectacle.

This sixth edition will take place at the Nicolaasplein in Zoetermeer. Versatile programming…funk, soul, dance, ska, disco, etc. A wide range of the best bands, musicians and artists will appear on stage. In addition to music, the square is complemented by numerous food stalls, restaurants and of course a cozy terrace.

The presentation was made in the hands of the eloquent Ward Migros and the always cheerful John Twinbriger, Zoetermeerers through him. Everyone is of course welcome during these wonderful days full of entertainment. It promises to be another lively and colorful concert.

Vijverpop will be opened on Saturday afternoon by Ricky Daniels. Born in Birmingham, Ricky began his music career in various dance bands as a lead singer and guitarist. He later toured the UK and worked at various clubs. As a vocal/piano artist, Ricky has also performed around the world for some time. He also appeared on The Voice Sr, where all the judges turned their chairs, but did not make it to the final.

Vijverpop ends Sunday evening with a fantastic “final fanfare” by The Rebound. Five very experienced musicians with a passion for jazz, soul and Motown make up this classy band. With their years of knowledge, they give both famous and lesser-known songs their own twist. Recognizable, but a little different. Enjoy dancing and singing together.
