THQ Nordic announces SpellForce: Conquest of Eo – Gaming – News

Publisher THQ Nordic presents the computer game SpellForce: Conquest of Eo. The turn-based game combines RTS and RPG elements. The creators promise a high level of replayability thanks to a procedurally generated single player campaign.

Conquest of Eo is the first SpellForce RPG to feature a tactical grid of hexagons. Previous parts of the series have already combined RTS and RPG elements. Players take on the role of a wizard and must raise their tower to become the “Greatest Wizard of All Time” and conquer Eo. To do this, players must defeat the armies of enemies with magical heroes and their own armies. By expanding the wizard’s tower, players can access new magic spells.

THQ Nordic is showing a cinematic trailer with short gameplay clips at the end. on Steam The game is screenshots of the alpha version. The game’s release date and cost have yet to be announced.

SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is developed by Owned by Gravity. This studio previously made the tactical strategy games Fantasy General. The SpellForce series of RTS RPGs has been around since 2003. The latest version, SpellForce 3, was released in 2017. An improved version of it, SpellForce 3 Reforced, followed in 2021. This title has also been available for consoles since June of this year.
