Will ‘Dune: Part 3’ actually happen?

Denis Villeneuve, director of Dune: Part Two, provided an update on Sand dunes 3 And whether or not it will be his next film.

During a press conference in South Korea about the sequel, Villeneuve was asked about adapting the film Christ Dunes. He replied as follows:

Dennis is tired
“The script for the third part is almost finished, but it’s not finished yet. It will take some time… I dream of making a third film. It makes sense to me, but I don’t know when I will return to Arrakis.

Maybe I’ll do something else first, even if it’s just getting out of the sun for a while. For the sake of my mental health, I would rather make another movie first, but my dream is to eventually make another movie on the planet I love.”

Villeneuve also said that he was more proud of the sequel than he was of the first film. And he has good reason for this:

“I love this movie much more than the first part. It has more life. There is a sparkling relationship between the characters. I achieved a level of strength and emotion in the second part that I lacked in the first part.

Dennis is excited
I’m not saying the movie is perfect, but I’m more happy with the second part than the first. “I can’t wait to share the film with fans and movie audiences.”

Sand Dunes: Part Two It will be shown in cinemas worldwide from March 1, 2024.
