This year, forecasts put Ukraine in first place among the candidates for the 66th edition of the singing competition. The first position will essentially be a symbol of the country, which is currently under heavy fire from Russian forces. Pending a win, Ukraine already qualified for the final on Tuesday during the first semi-final, with Switzerland, Armenia, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, Greece, Moldova and the Netherlands managing to qualify as well.
