Insta360 Introduces New X3-360 Camera With 1/2″ 48MP Sensors – Sound and Vision – News

Following the rumors earlier this week, Insta360 confirmed the arrival of the new Insta360 X3-360 camera. The camera has two 1/2″ 48MP sensors and a 2.29″ touch screen.

The Camera It can, as mentioned, shoot in 360 degrees thus polishing the selfie stick away, so that the camera appears to be floating around the user. It is also possible to record “normal” 4K images with a single lens.

Insta360 chose the same candy bar form factor as the Insta360 One X2. The camera can be operated partially via the touch screen, but there are also four buttons to facilitate control, for example when wearing gloves. The camera is equipped with a 1800 mAh battery and it is waterproof. The camera can shoot up to ten meters underwater. The camera also has a horizon lock function, thanks to which the camera maintains the plane of the image with the horizon.

Insta360 is focused on content creators and has added several features to the camera that make it easy to record videos for both Instagram and TikTok at the same time. Insta360 should support users more in editing the photos they take with the X3. For example, the trailer shows the possibility of changing the sky in a movie.

Insta360 X3 is available today. In Benelux, the 360-degree camera costs 530 euros.
