This new feature in WhatsApp is useful if you are receiving a lot of messages
If you receive a lot of messages on WhatsApp every day, a new feature could save you a lot of time. New chat filters make it easier to sort through messages in your WhatsApp inbox.
WhatsApp started rolling out today New chat filters feature. There are currently three: All, Unread, and Collections. You'll see the filters at the top of your inbox. The first is displayed by default and with the “Unread” option you will immediately see messages that you have not yet opened. The Groups filter also displays conversations in subgroups that are part of Communities.
Do you see them yet?
According to WhatsApp, filters help you “navigate through messages more efficiently.” The new filtering options may not be visible to everyone yet, as they are being rolled out in phases. It will be available to everyone in the “coming weeks,” according to WhatsApp.
More filters may be added soon. In the code of the beta versions of WhatsApp, it recently appeared that the chat application works on many other filters, such as showing messages from your favorite contacts only. But it is not yet known when these additional filters will be added.
