Google will help you find out who called
If you receive a call from an unknown number, you'll soon be able to easily search for that number via Google using a new button.
If you don't know who's calling, you should probably turn to Google. Especially if scammers try to reach you regularly. If you see on a website that dozens of other people are complaining about that phone number, you can block them before they try again.
Looks like Google wants you for help To facilitate this search. The Search button has appeared in the latest beta version of the mobile app. You'll find this button when you click on the phone number in the Recent Phone Numbers tab.
If you click this new button, the phone number will automatically be entered into the Google search field so you no longer have to cut and paste.
