Properties: This week we celebrate the 113th edition of one of the oldest golf tournaments in the world (the trophy pictured above). It was first played in 1903 – at the Port Elizabeth Stadium, and was won by Scot Laurie Walters.
It has been an attractive tournament for a very long time. Gary Player has won thirteen times, followed by Bobby Locke (9) and Sid Broz (8). The names of Locke and Brews are also on the list of Open winners. Recently there have been five wins for Ernie Els.
