The Pacer Podcast | Frick was a lazy striker, but thanks to Susan he managed to run the Berlin Marathon in 2.49 | Other sports

Last week, the new album of Suzanne and Frick was released, but today it’s not about the millions of streams of the Dutch singing duo, but mainly about all the kilometers that Frick Reijerink walks. Two days after his 2:49.54 at the Berlin Marathon, he joined De Besser, still suffering from muscle pain in his legs.

During the lockdown, the lazy striker tried to run. Now he says he is “into it” and can be a bit obsessed with competitions. Like last year in his first marathon in Rotterdam. There was no time for that this time. Its preparation was hectic: in the middle of the renovation process and thus the move and release of the new album, a few days before the Holy Day. However, on Sunday it fell below the magic three-hour barrier. Thanks in part to Susan’s banners roaming Berlin.

And this is in the same race where the women’s world record was significantly improved by Tigist Assefa. Enough talking about it.
