Tax consultant Linda de Mol and Afrojack arrested

Frank has created tax facilities for celebrities, including Linda de Mol and Afrojack. According to the Department of Defense, which is based on the US extradition request, the New York attorney general suspects that the Dutchman thwarted a $100 million income tax collection.

“I understand from his Italian lawyer that the arrest is linked to an alleged flight risk, but of course this is complete nonsense because he has been under house arrest for about three months, which is very strict,” says lawyer Annabelle Visers.

Vissers states that her client does not agree. He always acted within the legal framework when advising artists to settle in other countries on paper. “Precisely because his advice was motivated by loopholes in the law, as a result of which artists faced double taxation,” she says.

Extradition of Frank to the United States is not expected immediately. The new arrest by the Italian police has begun a procedure that may take some time.
