Lil Klein, Spinface and Body Guy: These artists perform during the Drenthe Summer Festival

Are you more in Heavy metals? Then maybe it’s better to go to Pitfest. Pitfest is a multi-day metal, punk and hardcore festival in Emmen, with a campsite close to the site. Performances include Hatebreed, Sick Of It All and Imolation. But the Heideroosjes and our Skroetbalg band will also perform.

A little further north, on the outskirts of Schebourg, the FestiValderAa festival will be held again at the beginning of July. Previously, the festival was held on the meadow, but due to stricter nitrogen regulations, this is no longer possible.

FestiValderAa is designed for people who love theatre, art and music. According to the organization, “This festival promises an intimate, joyful and unique atmosphere, filled with amazing programs from regional and national talent.” Performances include Spinface, Nas, Pop Away Zoid, Marcel Hensema and TDI Garage.

Don’t have tickets to the City Festival in Hoogeveen yet? So you’re probably out of luck, unless you can buy a ticket from someone via TicketSwap, for example. Tickets for the city festival are completely sold out. You can also win a ticket at RTV Drenthe the week before the festival.

The one-day festival was held for the first time in 2022, featuring Bookers and Hannah May, among others. Both artists will return to Hoogeveen again this year, but Ilse DeLange, Flemming and Lil Kleine are also programmed.
