Jay-Z’s former business partner, Damon Dash is teaming up with a Dutch media company

Damon “Dame” Dash, famous American entrepreneur and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records with Jay-Z, will host and co-produce the groundbreaking 10-part documentary series called “Hip-Hop Invasion”. The documentary series will be produced as part of a joint venture with Dutch broadcasting media company 4Mat Factory as part of an expanded collaboration between the two companies.

In “Hip-Hop Invasion,” Dame Dash takes us through the history of hip-hop music as it rocked the world with its foundations. In each episode, Dame explores how hip-hop culture, music and business from the Bronx, New York, in the late ’70s/early ’80s conquered every city, town and country around the world. From the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, South Africa, China, Japan, Poland, Brazil, and Turkey, Hip Hop Invasion tells the often unknown stories from the original pioneers to the latest entrepreneurs and their impact on hip hop culture today.

The collaboration between Dame Dash Studios and 4Mat Factory includes commercial representation and distribution of various DDS, TV and film projects such as rocky road , An Intimate Journey into Women’s Experiences with IVF and Infertility, by Raquel M. Horne. And Dusko goes to space , an animated educational adventure series created by Raquel M. Horne. Feature film produced by Kanye West Honoring Starring Dam and Cameron.

4Mat Factory and Dame Dash Studios will showcase some of their upcoming TV and film projects at MIPCOM, the world’s largest trade fair for entertainment content across all genres and platforms, in Cannes, France.
