Vorige week belandde de zanger tijdens een vakantie in Italië weer in het ziekenhuis. Volgens Britse media was hij met zijn vriendin Kate Cassidy op vakantie bij het Comomeer om hun eerste jaar samen te vieren. In mei gingen er nog geruchten dat het stel niet langer samen was, maar in juni werden ze weer samen gezien.
De viering van hun liefde bleek van korte duur. De zanger werd opnieuw geplaagd door stekende pijn in zijn nieren.
