Game developer Offworld Industries is working on a game under the Starship Troopers license. Starship Troopers: Annihilation will be cooperative first person shooter Where twelve players must defend the bases against hordes of giant insect-like aliens.
According to the Steam store page From the game, the players take part in it the difference from four seeds, with a total of twelve in the match. Teams must defend their base, ‘Objectives Complete” and collect resources and “kill every bug you see”. Players can choose one of three different classes, build defenses, and through settlement Unlock new equipment and skills. Other items the page mentions are “large scale battles,” and a “ping system,” which makes it easy to communicate with your teammates.
Starship Troopers: Annihilation does not yet have a release date. However, there is an early access period, although it is not known when it will start. Moreover, only the year of release 2023 is mentioned.
Offworld Industries game studio is also known for Squad and Post Scriptum. The studio’s founders started as model makers for Battlefield 2 and were responsible for Project Reality: BF2. StarShip Troopers is a 1997 science fiction film directed by Paul Verhoeven.
