AMD announces Radeon Pro W6800 and W6600 graphics cards next week – Computer – News

AMD sent out a call for “something big” on Tuesday, June 8. The teaser and the URL show that it is for two Radeon Pro video cards for workstations: Radeon Pro W6800 and W6600

The sent email also has a URL added to it utm_campaign = 2021-06-03-consumer-radeon-pro-w6800-w6600-pre-announced, which AMD has already revealed about the subject of the announcement.

Judging by the naming, it looks like the W6800 is expected to get a Navi 21 GPU and the W6600 and a Navi 23 GPU. The latter has so far been used only for the Radeon RX 6600M GPU in laptops, and the RX 6600 video card is not yet available for desktop computers. Additional specifications for Radeon Pro cards are not yet known. Radeon Pro may get W6800 32 GB of GDDR6 memory.
