American actor Samuel L. Jackson wears glasses by Bruges glassmaker Hode in the Marvel series Secret Invasion. The Hoet Couture model O4 is designed and manufactured in Bruges.
Attentive viewers have already seen: Nick Fury, the famous American actor’s character, wears striking frames in the series. It was – not coincidentally – glasses custom-made by the Bruges designer Hött. “We’ve known for some time that Samuel L. Jackson was a fan of our designs,” marvels Bruges’ manager Bieke Hoet. This case goes back to the 19th century.
Their exclusive glass designs are available in various locations around the world. “Jackson once bought us glasses in London,” says Pike. “Maybe that’s why Marvel Studios contacted us.
