Royal Air Maroc is considering further expansion of its operations, according to reports by CEO Abdelhamid Addo. With the increase in tourism in Morocco and the ambition to open new routes to Africa, Europe and America, the airline is considering strengthening its fleet by purchasing new long- and medium-haul aircraft.
“We plan to add many new routes, mainly to Africa, Europe and America,” said Abdelhamid Addo. Bloomberg. “A larger fleet is essential to strengthen the company’s global reach and capitalize on Morocco’s status as a tourist destination.”

Last month, the CEO of Royal Air Maroc made announcements regarding the upcoming summer season and new aircraft purchases. During the summer season, the airline plans to offer a total of 6.2 million seats across 90 destinations. These destinations include 34 European airports, North America, 26 direct connections to Africa and Middle Eastern markets. To support this expansion, Royal Air Maroc also plans to lease six modern aircraft.
