RAYE is the biggest winner at the BRIT Awards with a record six awards | music
RAYE took home the most statues at the BRIT Awards, Britain's most important music awards, on Saturday. The singer received six of her seven nominations in London. Thus, she broke the record for the largest number of awards won at one ceremony.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter, whose real name is Rachel Kane, had the best chance of winning an award with seven nominations. This was also a record.
She won, among others, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Female Artist of the Year.
Other winners include Dua Lipa (Best Pop Act), SZA (International Artist of the Year) and Miley Cyrus. The US singer recently won the Brit Award for International Single of the Year with her hit song Flowers.
Kylie Minogue received a Lifetime Achievement Award during the awards ceremony. The 55-year-old Australian singer also performed at the awards ceremony. There were also more performances from Tate McRae, Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding and more.
