World leaders meet this week in Davos, Switzerland, at the World Economic Forum to discuss the economy. Queen Máxima is also present. She's worn one before Power suit In Dutch: orange – and it looked like this. On the final day in Davos, the Queen chose a very interesting mix of styles.
Queen Máxima starts the year with a new look in light pink. While the Queen brought out a surprising number of vintage outfits last year, she's now surprising with a new look from her favorite fashion house, Nathan's. The look consists of wide-leg leather pants with a matching turtleneck made of merino wool. Both are in a soft powder shade with a warm undertone.
A bold choice of shoes
Máxima brings together this elegant collection from Natan in a rather surprising way. There are no elegant heels or ballet flats on her feet, no, the Queen is wearing sturdy brown lace-up pumps from Gianvito Rossi underneath. And it seems to be her favorite pair of shoes, because the Queen wore the shoes earlier this week in Davos under an orange suit.
This look from Máxima is cool and classic at the same time
For Maxima, it's a bold combination of two very different styles. Yet somehow they always manage to pull it off, see for yourself! You can see the shoe up close in the sixth photo.
