Kanye ‘Ye’ West’s concert in Italy is likely to be cancelled

It remains to be seen whether the concert by Kanye West, the artist who now calls himself “Ye”, will continue in Italy. The ceremony was scheduled to take place last Friday, but it was postponed to next Friday. Billboard now reports that the show in Reggio Emilia may not happen at all.

Concert rumors began in Italy in early October when construction began on the RFC Arena in Reggio Emilia on a large stage for a show scheduled for mid-October. The plans were “put on hold” when it became clear that the necessary permits would not be issued on time. The show seemed to have been saved with a week’s delay, but in recent days the theater was demolished and Yi returned to the United States.

According to rumors, the show was supposed to be the world premiere of Ye’s new album with Ty Dolla $ign. At the beginning of August, she attended Travis Scott’s concert at Circus Maximus in Rome and performed their song “Thank God” with Scott.

By the way, Yi’s ceremony is controversial. Local feminist and anti-fascist clubs wanted to protest due to the rapper’s past anti-Semitic statements and expressions of admiration for Adolf Hitler.
