Jakarta – Annual Report Open Doors Report The Institute of International Education announced that the number of Indonesian students studying in the United States this year reached 8,467, an increase of 5.8% from last year. This increase was due to a 22% increase in the number of Indonesian citizens participating in postgraduate programs in the US and a 16% increase in the number of participants participating in post-graduate work training through the OPT program. The report shows a sharp increase in the number of US citizens studying in Indonesia, from 10 to 142, reflecting a return to normality for Americans after the COVID restrictions that affected the movement of students around the world.
