The Pukkelpop meadow is ready to welcome festival-goers for the next four days. The site has been slightly modified this year. For example, the Boilerroom has been given a new look. “It’s a little smaller than usual, but we put two small tents in there,” says company spokesman Frederic Luyten. “This way we create a little more openness to turn it into a dance temple again. With a total capacity, it wouldn’t make much difference and it could still hold between 12 and 15,000 people.”
Also new to the site is E Rina, podium with “three days of games, chats, esports, podcasts, AI experiences, GPT chat, and electronic music”.
Looks like it will be a warm and sunny version. The organization provides sprays on site and will provide sunscreen.
The first festival-goers are expected to arrive at Hasselt Station on Thursday morning, where they will be taken to the campsites and the festival area by bus from De Lien. Through Sunday, there are performances from Billie Eilish, Yungblud, Years & Years, Angèle, Anne-Marie, Limp Bizkit, The Killers, Florence + The Machine, and dozens of other artists on the eight different stages.
