Young Holland talents fear tough quarter-final Orange: “America is doomed”
After the victory against Qatar (2-0), the Orange team advanced to the round of 16 and will compete with the United States. Now you will say, we have nothing to fear about ‘Team USA’, but they made it to the final eight with a lot of passion and effort. We look forward to the game with the football players of Jang Orange from Alkmaar. They don’t have much hope of a good outcome.
For example, Morris thinks the Orange game has been the most disappointing so far. The Dutch national team may win, but on the basis of the game it does not deserve the beauty prize. “They won, but that doesn’t mean they did well. Qatar is very low in the world rankings. They should have scored a lot more.”
Although the Orange game is not yet attractive, Dutch juniors players follow every game closely. “My dad and my grandpa are always yelling at the TV,” says Sill. “If they hit, they go crazy.”
Kakpo
Young analysts expect it to be tough against the US. “I know FC Barcelona’s Sergino Test is playing for America,” says Roddy. “He played at Ajax first, so it can be difficult at times. But, I think Kakpo will score again.”
What if we beat America? Morris brought out the calculator. “Then we play against Argentina and I’m afraid it’s over because I don’t expect much good from it.”
