The Ubisoft website has announced a new release date for the cooperative shooter Rainbow Six Extraction. According to a blog from the studio, this game will be released on January 20, 2022. Ubisoft previously postponed the game until “January 2022”, but has not yet set a specific date.

Ubisoft has not officially announced a release date, nor has it responded to VGC questions. It appears that Ubisoft recently updated the blog post with the new release date, although it is not clear when exactly that happened.
Rainbow Six: Extraction is a PVE shooter that was announced as “Rainbow Six Quarantine” in June 2019. The game was initially scheduled to release in early 2020. This was later delayed and in June Ubisoft announced that the title would be released on September 16, 2021. A month later, Ubisoft postponed that until January 2022, which now appears to have materialized until January 20. The game will be released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Google Stadia. Tweakers was already published earlier this year preview from the game.
