The new Ghostbusters movie poster defaces the iconic logo
the GhostbustersThe franchise is already 39 (!) years old this week, but it’s far from over.
Around Christmas, the final, as yet untitled, installment in the series will appear as a sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Nice opportunity
This past Thursday was Ghostbusters Day, and to mark the occasion, the first poster for the new sequel was revealed.
The poster, which you can view below, shows the well-known, but somewhat battered logo. Also, the ghost in the logo appears to be “frozen”.
New Christmas movie?
This last fact could indicate that the movie takes place during the winter months, possibly even during Christmas. That would at least match well with the movie version.

The return of the actors in the new Ghostbusters They are McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd. They are joined by newcomers Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Exter and Emily Alyn Lind.
Fast production
Filming actually began last March, and the direction this time is in the hands of Gil Keenan, who is backed by Jason Reitman, who… hereafter Directing and writing the film.
