It now leverages Synacor’s Cloud ID to authenticate cross-platform delivery of ABS-CBN’s Filipino Channel (TFC) through StarHub in Singapore, giving authorized TFC subscribers access to TV Everywhere (TVE). The expanded Synacor agreement builds on ABS-CBN and its affiliates’ existing use of Cloud ID for TFC authentication in the US and elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific region. Cloud ID simplifies the login process used by StarHub subscribers to access TFC on their TVs and smart devices through ABS-CBN’s iWantTFC.
