(Allianz News) – American automaker Stellandis North America, also known as FCA US, a subsidiary of Stellandis NV, reported sales of 380,563 vehicles in the third quarter, down 1% from the same period last year.
The Chrysler brand grew 96 percent from the same quarter last year, while Chrysler Pacifica in the U.S. grew 120 percent. The Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid grew 329% in the U.S. compared to the same period last year.
The Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid accounted for 23% of total Pacifica sales in the third quarter – 8,949 units – and was the third best-selling plug-in hybrid in the US.
Total U.S. sales of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe on sale in the third quarter of 2022 were up 31% and 2,198%, respectively, from the same period last year.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee posted a 52% increase in total US sales compared to the same quarter last year. Sales of Grand Wagoneer increased by 22% compared to the same quarter last year.
Total U.S. sales of the Ram ProMaster van were up 34% over the same period last year. Additionally, total U.S. sales for the Ram brand’s commercial fleet channel increased 19% year-over-year.
