Gimenez replaced after penalty miss, PSV striker boosts Pepe – Voetbal International

No fewer than three PSV players were called up for the US qualifiers, with Sergino Test the only one to start in his home country. It was Gimenez who was less happy with the result. The Feyenoord striker started the friendly against Australia but missed a penalty ten minutes into the second half when he trailed 0-1. Giménez head-butted AZ goalkeeper Matthew Ryan, only to be cleared by Raul Giménez five minutes later. The 32-year-old striker showed how it should be done with a penalty moments later.
