Queen Máxima travelled to the North of the Netherlands today. The Queen visited the Friesland Circular Association, a partnership of companies and organisations working in the field of sustainability and recycling.
The Queen’s working visit began in Heerenveen, at the waste and raw materials company Omren. Here she was given a tour of the waste company and the nearby National Testing Centre for Circular Plastics. She was later received by Nedcam Solutions, also in Heerenveen. Máxima also took a tour of this company, where she was shown a large robotic 3D printer that was no less than twelve (!) metres long.
In Leeuwarden
For the next company, Queen Máxima traveled a little north, to Miedema Building Materials in Leeuwarden. She received an explanation vital The building and of course allowed him to have a look at the company.

Today’s look
Today, Queen Máxima wore a red shirt with matching earrings. She matched the top with navy blue pants and black heels.
Waste treatment and circularity
This is not Maxima’s first working visit focusing on waste treatment and circularity. Earlier this year, I traveled to the south of the country to visit Renewi, a waste-to-products company.
Princess Alexia’s Birthday Dinner
After the visit, the Queen said that she and her family will celebrate the birthday of Princess Alexia, who will blow out nineteen candles today. This can be seen in a video shared by property reporter Rick Evers on Instagram. “I have to run now,” Máxima said before leaving for her daughter’s birthday.
