The improved performance on new platforms is likely to be a welcome improvement for this game. No More Heroes III reviews were generally positive, but people weren’t happy with the frame rates the Nintendo Switch was able to achieve while playing it.

The publisher of the ports is Xseed Games, a game company from Japan. The developer of the game is Grasshopper Manufacture, headed by Goichi Suda, also known as Suda51. She is also known in games like Lollipop Chainsaw, Let It Die, Killer7 and Killer is Dead.
