Lenny Kohr’s trip to Israel was cancelled, and his grandson Oz is recovering Displays

to updateThe trip that Lenny Kor was supposed to take to Israel on Saturday was cancelled. The singer said this to ANP on Thursday. Kohar wanted to travel to the country to help her family after her 19-year-old grandson was injured in the battle there.

The singer says that the situation surrounding her grandson is stable. “He’s getting better, he’s recovering. Fortunately he made it, but a lot of others didn’t.”

The singer planned to fly to Israel on Saturday, but heard on Thursday that Transavia was no longer flying to Tel Aviv. “I hope I can go on the next flight, I just want to be with my children. I’m trying to move as quickly as I can when the planes start flying again.”

Kohr further emphasizes the message that she hopes people will not continue to feed on hate, but that everyone will connect with the “compassion and hope that everyone longs for.”

Kohar announced on Wednesday that her grandson, Oz, was seriously injured in the battle that took place in Israel. The teenager fought as a soldier in the Israeli army and was shot in the stomach. He was transferred to Tel Aviv, where he underwent surgery in hospital.
