Kay van Berlo from Veghel in Brabant, who runs the entire North American IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, has been selected by Porsche North America as the selected driver, meaning he can count on special support from the American Porsche organization. After two successful years in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by the Cayman Islands, Van Perlo will drive the new 911 GT3 R from Kelleymos this year with the relay team in the GTD class of the IMSA Championship, which starts next weekend with Rolex. 24 at Daytona.
