After lower results, Arendonk Sport and Jimmy Byns decided to part ways. And T2 Joost Maes will be in charge of District Two for the time being. Although in Arendonk they hope a new coach will start soon. “I think we can welcome one more person this week.”
“We were at the bottom for two seasons: last year we were able to save ourselves by a small miracle and the weather was good. This year things went a little differently: the feeling that we could stay in District Two B is no longer there, ”says the chairman of the board. Arendonk is currently penultimate, three points from the safe place.

“My best memory of Arendonk? It was last year when we were 0-2 behind the team that won the championship in the end. (Herselt, editor). But we still managed to convert that deficit to 3-2 and win the match. Now I’ll rest for a while – and then we’ll see what comes my way.”
