Futsal players in the World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Kosovo | other sports
Dutch futsal players will compete against Ukraine and Kosovo in the 2024 World Championship qualifiers. This was decided by the draw in Nyon on Thursday. Dates and venues will be announced at a later time.
If the Orange team finishes first in the group or belongs to the top four number 2, the team of new national coach Miguel Andres Moreno qualifies directly for the so-called Elite Tour. If the Netherlands takes second place, without belonging to the top No. 2, then the matches in the qualifiers will follow in April next year to qualify for the elite round.
In the elite role, twenty teams from five groups play for seven starting tickets for the 2024 World Cup. It is not yet known who will organize the World Cup. FIFA will also announce this at a later time.
Dutch futsal players were eliminated from the group stage at the beginning of this year at the European Championships in their country.
