EPS joins Pectil, an international engineering firm

Dutch Consulting EPS Customer Solutions has been acquired by Bectal, a global engineering firm with approximately 1,500 employees.

EPS Customer Solutions (EPS) was established in 2010 and is a business consultancy providing services to customers active in the oil refining, petrochemical, renewable energy and steel sectors. The company advises its clients on strategic decisions, performance enhancement and operational excellence, diligence to perform during M&A processes, technical assessments, operating licenses and training.

After operating independently for about ten years, EPS now joins American Pect, a global player with offices in North America, Latin America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. EPS will be incorporated into the pectin European practice.

With the acquisition of EPS, Pect adds management consulting capabilities to its services, based on engineering solutions, plant services, software tools and learning and development.

Chris van der Peek, a Dutchman who heads Pect in Europe, says: “We are delighted that EPS has joined us. This will strengthen our regional presence and enable us to better serve our customers in the EMEA region. ”

According to the Dutch agency and its 50 experts, joining the forces means they can now draw on the network of one of the world’s largest players active in the refining industry. In North America and Canada, Pect serves more than 95% of all refineries. Pect has many customers in South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and is one of the leaders there.

In October last year, another consultant joined an internationally run engineering firm: Novice Royal Haskoning joined DHV.
