After a successful US tour, Def Leppard and Motley Crue are gearing up for a world tour where they can be seen at next year’s Graspop Metal Meeting.
Graspop Metal Meeting announced the first two main appearances for the twenty-sixth edition. On Sunday 18th June 2023, Def Leppard can be seen on the South Stage and Motley Crue will close the festival on the North Stage. Last summer, the bands toured the United States. The stadium tour sold over a million tickets and in 2023 the two bands will team up again on the world tour.
Joe Elliott of Def Leppard: “We were so excited to finally be able to tour again. We’ve had an exceptional summer touring the US and Canada, and now we want to wow the rest of the world with this massive stadium tour. We started in Europe, and Sheffield got the scoop. This is where it all began for us 45 years ago. We can’t wait to see you all again very soon.”
Mötley Crüe in a joint statement: “We’ve never had as much fun as we did on the Stadium Tour in North America last summer. And we’re really looking forward to touring the world with the World Tour in 2023. Crüeheads in South America and Europe: get ready because we’re coming. It will be Maximum see you live again next year.”
Sales of the Graspop Metal Meeting 2023 will begin later this year. The festival takes place from the 15th to the 18th of June. Traditionally, various hard genres can be heard and seen there. From hard rock to hard rock, black metal to thrash metal, punk to metalcore and so much more.
