Bird Global, Inc. College campuses across North America are announcing the launch of a new back-to-school card for students. The Rittenkaart is designed to provide students with a safer, greener and more pleasant ride in bird-active areas. Beginning September 5, students can purchase a ride pass for $2.50 and receive 25% off unlimited rides throughout the month.

For students who want to access the Rittenkaart: Open the Bird app; Click on the top banner that highlights the ride card available for purchase; Click on $2.50 – 25% ride card; Read the benefits of the pass and click on ‘Buy Pass’. Enjoy 25% off on all rides throughout the month of September Conditions apply. Ride Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, Bird+ subscription or group ride.

On college campuses across North America, the new school year is off to a good start and students are turning to micromobility solutions to get around. The number of first-time birders on campus has increased nearly 160% since the start of the school year. The number of riders on campus has also shown incredible growth, with an increase of more than 260% in the first ten days of the school year compared to the previous ten days.
