Avatar: The Last Airbender It will get two more seasons. The third series of the live-action series will also be the last.
The streaming service Netflix announced this. The first season was released on February 22 and received widespread viewership despite mixed reactions.
Avatar: The Last Airbender The film revolves around a world in which some people can control one of the four elements (water, earth, air, and fire). The main character Aang, the Avatar, is the only one who controls the four elements. Gordon Cormier, Daniel Dae Kim, and Ian Owsley, among others, play roles in the series.
There was uproar and disappointment among fans when creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Brian Konietzko resigned in 2020. They felt that Netflix gave them too little control. “It's not about whether we get what we want. Not all ideas have to come from us. As long as we feel those ideas are in line with the spirit and integrity of symbol picture“,” Konietzko wrote on Instagram at the time.
The first series on Netflix consists of eight episodes. The number of episodes for the second and third seasons is not yet known. Nothing is known yet about a potential release date.
Avatar: The Last Airbender It is a live-action remake of the animated series that aired on Nickelodeon. The original animated series has been airing since 2005 and also had three seasons. The series was made into a movie in 2010.
