Apple announces the new iPhone 13s
the new iPhone 13 Works with the new A15 Bionic chip. According to Apple, the chip has 50 percent higher computing power than the “competition,” not to name the names. According to Apple, the notch at the top of the screen, the well-known notch, is now 20 percent smaller. In the notch there is a selfie camera and sensors for facial recognition Face ID. Since the iPhone X from 2017, the notch has remained unchanged.
The iPhone 13 Mini once again has a 5.4-inch screen, the iPhone 13, just like the previous model, has a 6.1-inch screen.
The wide-angle cameras on new iPhones now have “Sensor Shift Stabilization”, which makes photos look smoother as you move while recording. Also, photos in the dark should be more visible. The camera also captures 47% more light.
The iPhone 13 and 13 mini can now also record 4K videos in Dolby Vision for dramatically improved HDR photos. The camera also has a new Cinema Mode, where the camera focuses itself while shooting, while adding a cinematic depth of field effect. As the iPhone 13 models’ wide-angle sensor became larger to capture more light, the two lenses were no longer under each other but rather diagonally.
Improved battery life
The new iPhones have also improved battery life compared to last year’s models. iPhone 13 mini will last 1.5 hours longer than 12 mini when fully charged, and iPhone 13 will last 2.5 hours longer than iPhone 12. The new iPhone 13 comes with 128, 256 and 512GB storage. iPhone 13 mini is on sale from 809 euros, iPhone 13 is available from 909 euros.
iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max
The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max both feature a ProMotion 120Hz display for the first time, which Apple says provides smoother images. Previous iPhones always used a 60Hz screen. Screen sizes remain unchanged: 6.1 inches on the iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7 inches on the iPhone Pro 13 Max.
Pro models also have a larger battery: the iPhone 13 Pro is said to last 1.5 hours longer than the 12 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max is said to last 2.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Improved cameras and adjustable focus
The three cameras on the back have also been renewed. In addition to all the camera functions on the regular iPhone 13 models, the Pro models also get the option to adjust the depth of field for videos afterwards. In addition, the focus point can be changed: instead of the face in the foreground, the clarity of the face in the background can be increased, or vice versa. Later, the 13 Pro models will also receive support for the ProRes video format.
The ultra-wide angle lens of Pro models can take macro photos for the first time: up to 2cm away from the subject and still sharp. Pro-model cameras also capture more light in the dark: the wide-angle lens has up to 2.2 times more light, and the ultra-wide lens has 92 percent more light. Night mode is available on all Pro cameras. Pro models can now zoom in up to 6x optically.
All new iPhone 13 models can already adjust the warmth and color tone of photos while shooting. Then the color of the sky remains unchanged. Users can use the Apple settings or adjust the settings themselves. These settings bypass the filter, and make it possible to see the result before the photo is taken.
variable speed
The screen refresh rate is variable from 10 Hz to 120 Hz. The screen brightness is 1000 nits. Pro models also have an A15 Bionic chip, but with a five-core GPU instead of the 4 cores of the regular iPhone 13 models.
The 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max come in four colors: graphite, gold, silver, and blue. iPhone 13 Pro costs 1159 euros and 13 Pro Max is available from 1259 euros.
The new iPad and Apple Watch
Apple also provided Two new iPads and new Apple Watch Series 7. No new version of AirPods was announced during Apple’s event.
