It soon became clear to Jacob that there was a flick with Monica, Jenny, Anita or Sigrun. In fact, the bed and breakfast manager and the four participants who traveled to Albufeira to find their real Jacob were diametrically opposed.
Jacob tells about this in the latest issue of the weekly magazine Spread: „There are things I have been told that dogs do not like bread. (…) On the broadcast I hear Jenny say: “What an idiot.” That was when they got home. It is unfounded to say such a thing. You should know it hurt when I saw that on TV. They were even meaner than they looked…”
A woman in the Netherlands closely followed Jacob’s disappointing love affair and decided to step into the digital pen. “She wrote to me that she really liked her and that my love for animals attracted her. Since I was in the middle of filming, I replied that I could not reply to her letter. I didn’t know how the show would run. A day after the four women left, I approached her and asked if she would like to come over. And it was.”
For privacy reasons, Jacob doesn’t want to name a new torch yet. However, he confirmed that her visit was “very interesting” and that she would come again for a few days to help with the bed and breakfast.
