10 countries with the most billionaires in the world, with the United States at the top in October 2023

Forbes released a list of 2,529 richest people in 77 countries as of October 2023.

As of Friday (6/10/2023), America is the country with the most billionaires in the world. The number of billionaires in the country is 744.

Overall, the wealth of the richest people in the US is US$5.043 trillion or IDR 78,830 trillion (assuming IDR 15,622/US$ on October 6, 2023).

Also, China is second with 408 billionaires. The total wealth of billionaires in China is US$1,377 billion or Rp. 21,530 trillion. The net worth of each Chinese billionaire ranges from 0.95 – 61.83 billion US dollars, which is Rp. 14.92 – equal to 966.46 trillion.

Then, under China is India with 173 billionaires with a total net worth of US$759.06 billion or Rp. 11,864 trillion.

Indonesia is not in the top 10 countries with the most billionaires. However, Indonesia is listed at number 21 with 24 billionaires who have assets of USD 136.3 billion or IDR 2,130 trillion.
