Josh Dugan and Tyrone Roberts fight

One of the few games over the weekend that meant absolutely nothing for the NRL Finals was the Knights hosting the Dragons at Hunter Stadium.

Newcastle were celebrating their Old Boys’ Day and they put on quite a show dismantling St George 40-10.

During the opening forty Dragons centre Josh Dugan and Knights halfback Tyrone Roberts exchanged blows in the first real fight since the “no-punch” rule was introduced.

The two were sin-binned and that was that.

It’s great to see the referees finally get one right.
