The bad season for the Panthers appears to be in its twilight, as reports are now suggesting that the franchise will sit down Luke Kuechly for the remainder of the season.

It’s been a rough go for the Panthers, sitting at the bottom of the NFC South after winning the division the last two seasons.

The defense Kuechly has captained has fallen hard from grace, now an average unit after the departure of several veterans.

Kuechly suffered the concussion that’s sidelined him against the Saints, in a collision that was hard to watch as he appeared to not know where he was.

The move to shut him down is smart, seeing as the season is lost anyways.
