It was testy, but largely a snoozer: last night’s Spurs-Grizzlies game was another beatdown for San Antonio, almost across the entire portion of the game.

But, the Grizzlies mounted a comeback that cut the deficit to just four early in the fourth.

The Spurs would swamp back out to another huge lead, but saw some questionable calls go against the Grizzlies down the stretch.

And Memphis coach David Fizdale certainly took notice.

In his postgame tirade, Fizdale said, “Pop may have more pedigree and I know I’m just a rookie, but they not gonna rook us.”

He called the refereeing of the series “unprofessional” and ended his rant with a slamming of the podium and a “take that for data.”

It will almost certainly be a fine, but the rest of the team may pay that for him.

Game three is on Friday (AEST) in Memphis.
