Boom! Stephen Curry Drops 40 on the Heat

Could this be the season that the Golden State finally makes the leap?

We’re not even twenty games into the season but so far the Curry-led Warriors are running away with the Pacific Division. Their (12-2) record has them three full games ahead of the Clippers and Suns and puts them just half a game behind Memphis for the top mark in the conference.

Golden State is currently riding a seven game win streak thanks in part to their sharp shooting point guard.

When Curry’s on, he just might be the best pure shooter the game has ever seen. Watch here as he drained 8 of 11 from behind the arc en route to 40 points and a win over the Miami Heat.

According to according to Elias Sports Bureau, on the night Steph also passed all-time great Ray Allen for the most games (51) with at least five three-pointers and five assists.

And hey, attention NBA defenders – here’s a look at Stephen Curry’s shot chart from this season. Looks like you’re going to have to guard him pretty much everywhere.
