Winmau and CDC join forces in North America

Winmaw and Championship Darts Corporation (CDC), the North American Tour, are partnering.

As the largest javelin organization in North America, the two companies support the development of top-level javelin sports in the United States and Canada through this sponsorship agreement. As a result of this collaboration, all CDC tournaments will now be played on the Winmau Blade 6 dartboard.

Peter Citera, head of the CDC, responded with satisfaction. “This partnership gives North American players the opportunity to compete in the world’s biggest tournaments and the level of excellence in North America has seen new top talent emerge every year.”

Simon Hall, Marketing Director at Winmau also gave a brief presentation. “We are always happy to partner with an organization that has tirelessly developed and grown the game of darts in any country, and we understand how difficult it can be in practice. With this latest agreement, we are combining the strengths of the PDC, CDC and Winmau in a joint strategy for North America and players there.”

“The CDC continues to grow and attract more and more people every year. Players continue to break through and some hold the PTC Tour card. We are proud to have supported the careers of many North American players, including Jeff Smith and Jim Whitmeyer.”
