What the world will look like in fifty years, of course, remains a guess. But this does not prevent economists from predicting which countries will be the most trained in the future. These countries should have the largest economies in the world by 2075.
In 1980 the Netherlands had the 12th largest economy in the world. And at the turn of the century, our country was still fourteenth. But many former developing countries have now largely caught up. And if this streak continues, some surprising country will lead the global economy in 2075.

Partly due to aging and stagnant population growth in the West, China will overtake the US economy in 2035 and become the largest in the world. By 2075, a third major player will be added, followed closely by a few below-the-top players benefiting from rapid population growth, such as Egypt and Nigeria.
