Apple will give the camera island in the new iPhone a new design. The lenses on the back of the iPhone 16 will likely be arranged vertically.

The leaked images seem to confirm the new design once again. The new setup is said to be more suitable for spatial video recording, and is more compatible with Apple Vision Pro glasses.
From diagonal to vertical
The new design is similar to the design of the camera island in the iPhone. The two iPhones that came after it used the same design for the two rear cameras. Apple will almost certainly return to this when the iPhone 16 is unveiled later this year.
