The report shows that despite expectations, China has failed to turn the economic tide after the COVID pandemic.in the report It is expected that 13,500 millionaires will leave China this year. This is a 25 per cent increase over the 10,800 who left the country in 2022. In 2022, under the ‘Zero COVID’ policy, it was much more difficult to leave the country, and now that the borders are open again, the catch-up is visible. China’s poor economic condition will not necessarily convince the wealthy to stay.
